The CSU/DSU Module permits the Climax950, Climax960
and Climax2000 to send voice, fax and data traffic over digital
networks. The module can be used to provide either primary access
to the Frame Relay network, or for back-up.

The Climax950, Climax960 and Climax2000 support up
to eight integrated 56K/64K CSU/DSU Modules, eliminating the need
for external equipment, reducing space requirements and costs, and
consolidating network management. Its feature set makes it ideal
for use in a wide range of environments and applications. In addition,
its troubleshooting mechanisms ensure that you are always able to
diagnose and resolve line problems.
Operational Features
- Available in both 56 Kbps and 64 Kbps Clear Channel
versions to meet your network's requirements.
- Supports leased line point-to-point or multipoint
at 2.4, 4.8, 9.6, 19.2, 56 and 64 Kbps for complete networking
flexibility.
- Limited Distance Modem (LDM) capability provides
in-house networking flexibility and reduces recurring line costs.
- Supports a range of tests from central-office initiated
CSU/DSU loopbacks to V.54 loopbacks including Remote Loop 2, and
511 pattern generation with or without error insertion, for troubleshooting
and resolving networking problems.
- Supports Digital Data Services (DDS) conforming
to AT&T Technical Reference Publication 62310 and unloaded
19-26 AWG twisted pair for LDM applications.
- Fully SNMP-manageable using CXView, Asce Networks'
Java-based management system for monitoring, statistics collection
and billing information.
- Configurable using Asce Networks' user friendly
object-oriented graphical user interface, CXTool.
