The V.34 Modem Module gives the Climax950, Climax960
and Climax2000 dial back-up capability, providing an alternate connection
to the network in the event of main link failure.

The V.34 Modem module provides back-up capabilities
and an alternate connection to the network in the event of main
link failure. The module is SNMP-compliant and supports the extended
AT command set. The CLIMAX900e can support up to five V.34 Modem
modules, while the Climaxx950, Climax960 and Climax2000 can support
up to 7 modules.
Operational Features
- Full duplex operating speeds of up to 28.8
Kbps through 300 bps for maximum, standards-compliant, networking
flexibility.
- V.42bis compression delivers throughput to 57.6
Kbps maximizing bandwidth usage and reducing costs.
- Offers V.42 error correction (MNP¡§ 2-4, LAPM) for
reliable data transmission.
- Supports V.54 international diagnostic tests (Loop
2 and Loop 3) for troubleshooting and line diagnostics.
- Supports automatic speed negotiation with fallback
for optimum transmission quality.
- Supports autoanswer and autodial with call progress
monitoring for networking convenience.
- Fully SNMP-manageable using CXView, Asce Networks'
Java-based management system for monitoring, statistics collection
and billing information.
- Configurable using Asce Networks' user friendly
object-oriented graphical user interface, CXTool.
